A little about Danielle's K9 Spa
I am a Certified City & Guilds Dog Groomer with over 13 years of experience, and I hold both a Canine Welfare & First Aid Certificate and a National Diploma in Animal Care. Before opening my spa, I gained hands-on experience working as a canine carer at a well-known dog rehoming Centre, which gave me a strong foundation in animal care and behavior. My approach to grooming is gentle, patient, and reassuring. I believe that grooming should never be stressful—it’s about building trust with your dog and making sure they feel safe and relaxed. I take the time to help each dog settle in, whether it’s their first groom, a regular pamper, or one of my special puppy spa sessions designed to give puppies the best possible start. Every appointment at Danielle’s K9 Spa is strictly one-to-one, meaning your dog has the salon—and my full attention—all to themselves. Each and every dog is treated with the same love, care, and respect as if they were my own.

Canine Spa Treatments
What to ExpectAll dogs are assessed on arrival, they each receive a health check and a behavioural assessment. My salon is air conditioned, very relaxed and calm, using the best shampoos & equipment.I understand that each dog is not text book so should always be treated differently according to their individual needs. I will work with your dog, not against it and give it one of the most positive grooming experiences possible tailoring their groom to their needs. All dogs who come to me are treated compassionately using various aids, treats and cuddles, constantly being reassured throughout their groom. If your dog is very nervous or dislikes being groomed please let me know when making the appointment so I can allow a little more time.

Is your pup in need of a Groom from head to waggy tail?Then this is the service your looking for, Complete grooms are normally scheduled between 4-8 weeks to keep your pup feeling & looking great.I will give your pup the One to One Spa time they deserve!This service includes a full body styling with bath and dry nails clipped with ears cleaned.

Did your pups eyes vanish into the hair on its nose? Are those fuzzy little paws bringing in dirty leaves and sticks?Let me fix your little pup up with this tidy up spa .Designed for maintaining your dog between Complete grooms to help prevent tangles & maintain your dogs skin & coat.Your dog will have a maintenance style with hair scissored aways from their feet face & hygiene areas. (Not full body styling see complete groom)
This service is also suitable for Dogs such as Golden retrievers, Spaniels and any dog that requires feet face and hygiene grooming.

Leave the messy Bath tub to me I will bath and brush out your dog leaving them as good as new,
With this express service you could drop off your pooch and have them returned within an hour!
This Groom is great for a dog who needs a quick freshen up without a full body style or for dogs who love a muddy puddle.No scissor work is included so if your dog requires this please see my maintenance tidy up spa.

One to One Puppy Introduction Spa
From £35
This spa is specifically designed to introduce your little puppy to the salon these are to help desensitise your puppy to the noise of the hairdryer and being up on a table .Sessions are 1hr keeping grooming simple to feet face and hygiene areas with a bath and gentle blow dry allowing your puppy to become accustomed to the salon and handling before a Complete groom.I usually recommend atleast 4 Puppy Spa sessions (especially as I get to have lots of cuddles and playtime helping them to bond with me!) .Even the most confident puppy can be anxious in a new environment salons with the different scents noises and touching can unnerve them so puppy spas are there to help give positive reinforcement enabling a happy adult dog in the future.
Prices for dogs from second vaccination to 6 months of age only where prices will increase to tidy up or Complete groom price consult Danielle on which this will be for your dog.
Nail Clipping £15-£20 appointment only please
I provide a nail clipping service for small and large dogs by appointment only currently.

This service is for dogs who leave a trail of hair behind them !Is your dog moulting all over your home ? Constant hair on your clothes then this service is for your dog removal of dead coat after a bath and dry .Breed , size and coat condition affects the price of your dogs groom as it is tailored to each pooch if you would like an estimate please contact me using the form below or contact details on the page.
Matted/Felted dogs & dogs in bad condition additional charges apply
Unfortunately on occasion I may have to clip down a dog’s coat either due to bad condition or matting.This is to relieve the dog of any pain or suffering they may be feeling,This may uncover sore spots red areas bruising or in severe cases may require vet treatment during or after the grooming due to impact of the matts on the skin .All owners will have to sign a clip down policy prior to grooming.Each dog is assessed case by case & will be subject to extra charges.
Smooth coated dogs de shedding & nails

Because every short haired dog owner knows about the little sprinkles of fur scattered around the house ! Nails and ears included with this deluxe de shedding and conditioning spa specifically for smooth coated dogs like staffs bulldogs and labs let me help your dog feel more comfortable
Meet and Treat session
This meet and treat service is for nervous or anxious dogs who need that extra introduction prior to grooming, I invite you to come along via appointment only allowing a short 20 minute introduction to the salon allowing your dog to sniff & play or eat as many tasty snacks as they can prior to any grooming (booked on another visit) some dogs require two or three meet and treats to help them realise salons aren’t scary neither am I .Each dog and guardian will have a bespoke meet and treat session depending on their needs.

Ready to pamper your pets from 9:30 AM to 1 PM Tuesdays and from 9am - 5pm Wednesday to Friday.Closed on weekends and Mondays.We look forward to seeing you and your furry companions!

Do you have parking available
There are a few spaces designated for use for my salon and Dipping dogs Hydrotherapy pool which are able to be used for drop off .
What methods of payment do you accept?
I accept card payment & Apple Pay.I also accept cash payments.
Can I book a swim at the pool for my dog & then come into you for a groom
Although this is possible if you are an existing client with the pool (they hold your vets referral)Spaces are limited and Dipping Dogs would need to be contacted separately prior to booking a groom if grooming and swimming are both free we may be able to Accommodate this .
